To meet the growing demand for IT talent, VTC established the Hong Kong Institute of Information Technology (HKIIT) on 1 November 2023. Offering programmes in areas like AI, Cybersecurity, and Data Science, HKIIT equips students with industry-aligned skills through practical Higher Diploma and Foundation Studies programmes starting in the 2024/25 academic year.

When I was studying at IVE, I received an internship to practise at one the world’s largest courier companies. The experience allowed me to understand how information technology was applied in the industry. After graduating from IVE, I was awarded a scholarship and went on to obtain a bachelor’s degree in the UK.
The social network I built during my internship has helped my career. Upon graduation, I partnered with my former supervisor to found a company specialising in radio frequency identification technology and smartphone software. Over the years, our company has grown in size and business volumes.
